In the latest of several collaborations with the Science Museum, a short promo by FdA Broadcast Operations student Robert Daykin has been chosen to promote the Science Museum’s current exhibition, Listening Post (http://www.sciencemuseum.org.uk/visitmuseum/galleries/listening_post.aspx . As part of the Post-Production option on his FdA, Robert edited footage provided by the Science Museum into a 30-second introduction to the exhibition, an audio-visual installation of text fragments fed through from online chatrooms and forums. Robert’s promo will be shown both in the gallery and on the Science Museum website, and was launched on Twitter (http://twitter.com/sciencemuseum/) in February.

Previous collaborations with the Science Museum have been set up by Senior Lecturer Caroline Orme, and include promos on solar-powered cars and an introduction to The Science of Singing project (http://www.danacentre.org.uk/events/programmes/13), in association with the Dana Centre.
