Fashion students in the Dragon’s Den

Final year BA (Hons) Fashion students Kiley Evans and Faye Bentley made it through to the finals of a major business plan competition. Alongside finalists from Rose Bruford College, Queen Mary, London Metropolitan University and University of East London, they pitched to entrepreneurs for serious investment at an exciting Dragon’s Den style evening at the Arsenal Emirates Stadium on 30 June, hosted by Dragon Richard Farleigh.

Their business plan is for a high-fashion company focused on creating exclusive couture womenswear garments for the wealthy teenage market.

Although their pitch didn’t win the competition, feedback from the entrepreneurs was extremely positive. Kiley will now be driving the business forward and plans to join Ravensbourne’s creative business incubation programme.
