Projects engineer
What is a Projects engineer?
Projects engineers build new or replacement broadcast TV and radio production and transmission systems. This can be for radio and television broadcast organisations, such as the BBC, Sky, or for foreign broadcast companies that require skilled broadcast engineering expertise.
What would I be doing?
- designing, modifying and installing new or replacement sound and video production and transmission systems.
What skills does this job require?
- Being comfortable working as part of a team and independently
- strong interpersonal skills
- good all-round knowledge of analogue and digital video and audio systems
- confident user of CAD (computer aided design) software.
