    MA/MSc Enabling Creative Innovation

    Times are changing

We are living in an era of rapid and turbulent change and as a result innovation has never been more essential to corporate survival and wealth creation – it is, therefore, not just confined to product or process innovation.

With the advent of new technologies, particularly in digital communications, entirely new business concepts/models are springing up to challenge the old order. With these challenges come opportunities – opportunities for entrepreneurialism whether in start ups or in large established organisations.

    Pushing the boundaries

MA Enabling Creative Innovation focuses on exploring creative innovation in this new and complex business environment: the critical challenges it presents and the opportunities it opens to those engaged in business, whether they are product/service developers, marketers, executives, ”intrapreneurs” and/or entrepreneurs.

    What will I learn?

Reflecting the approaches used in educating creative practitioners, emphasis is placed on experiential learning. Importance is given not just to generating exciting new ideas, but also bringing them to successful fruition by effectively managing the integration of knowledge, skills and experience of multi-disciplinary teams.

    Teaching

You will be encouraged to collaborate/engage with others in Ravensbourne’s multi-disciplinary postgraduate community; shadow live industry projects, and engage with enterprise and innovation activities.

You are required to own or have access to a laptop from the beginning of your studies. Laptops are an essential tool to support personalised learning and give you access, when and where you want it, to many of the creative tools and educational resources you will encounter during your studies.

Laptops are used extensively in all of our courses. You will need one to access our network, and to research, communicate and collaborate during your studies.
