Thing to consider before applying

Deciding where and what to study?

Courses in art, design and media vary greatly, and what you thought was your ideal course or college/university may not necessarily be the most suitable option for you; so it’s important to read prospectuses, look at websites, visit college or university Open Days, go along to end of year degree shows, talk to students and meet the tutors.

What’s also important to remember is that working in the creative and media industries is practical; you’d be wise to choose a course that will teach you the skills to secure your dream job.

Once you’ve chosen your course and place of study – hopefully you’ll be inspired to choose to study with us at Ravensbourne – you’re ready for completing your UCAS form, which also means you’ll need to complete a Personal Statement – don’t worry we’ve got some pointers for you.
