What next for you? > Fees & finance
Going to university is one of the biggest investments you will ever make.
In 2010/11, the government made major changes to student finance. The new funding arrangements will only apply to those starting their course at Ravensbourne from September 2012 onwards.
If you are under 18
If you are under 18 years of age or under at enrolment, and are a British or EU citizen and are about to embark on an FE (further education) course at Ravensbourne, then you do not have to pay a fee to study the course.
Undergraduate fees and finance
The following information is applicable to UK and EU students only.
International students should see ‘international fees and finance’ below.
Ravensbourne will be charging between £8,300 - £8, 500 per year for undergraduate degree courses. Please click here for a list of exact course amounts and UCAS codes.
Paying your tuition fees
Students may pay fees directly to the college or, if eligible, by applying for a tuition fee loan. Tuition fee loans are normally available to Home and European Union students studying on an undergraduate course. Where students are paying fees directly to the college, tuition fees are due in full at the start of the academic year or by another published date if a discount is being claimed.
To pay your fees you must first complete the enrolment process. Enrolment takes place in September but the final date(s) will be given to once you have accepted our offer of a place.
Additional fees
A number of courses may require additional fees for materials, equipment hire, transport costs for external visits, etc. It is best to check out each course description and also ask the appropriate course leaders if additional fees apply to the course you will be following.
Student Finance England
The Student Finance England website explains the funding available and how to apply.
EU students wanting to apply for a tuition fee loan need to complete the appropriate application form also available from the Student Finance England website.
