Financial Support Services
Ravensbourne appreciate that studying can be expensive and students, at times, may find themselves in unexpected financial hardship. We have a range of financial support packages designed to help students who find themselves in this position whilst studying at university.
Further Education Students
We provide a Discretionary Learner Support Fund and The 16-19 Bursary: income- assessed help with the costs of equipment, materials and travel for FE learners.
Home and International Students
Support available includes;

• Money Matters workshops

We offer a professional and discreet counselling service to help overcome any problems you might face in your academic or personal life. Whether this is something emotional, financial or just plain practical, we provide a supportive network of people who will listen and help.

Ravensbourne welcomes learners with learning difficulties or disabilities, and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all students. We can provide support prior to and during interview, help with advice on finances and benefits, and give ongoing support throughout your course. We always respond to individual students’ requirements flexibly and effectively. Dyslexia support
We offer confidential support in a variety of ways to students with dyslexia or other learning needs. This can include providing confidential screenings and diagnostic assessments. We can also assist with your Disabled Students Allowance (DSA) application.

We can offer ‘mentoring for success’ services to individual students whereby any personal difficulties, problems with studying, etc… can be worked through to enable students to remain on-track with their learning.
Studying can be challenging and we recognise that students may need extra help. We offer support with study skills, specialist tutoring and mentoring to keep you motivated and on-track with your learning.
